Auxiliary of justice medal, oval, with gilded brass bezel, engraved by Maurisset, on the obverse the Book of Laws, two crossed lictor beams, a sword in pale surmounted by a Phrygian cap, around it: "LOIX JUSTICE UNION FORCE D'UN PEUPLE LIBRE", on the reverse the inscription: "ACTION DE LA LOI" surrounded by oak leaves; 43 x 32.5 mm. Revolutionary period. Very good condition.
