Very good condition GRAND-JEAN Edmond Georges, painter born in Paris on May 21, 1844, † in the same city in 1908. Enrolled at the École des Beaux-arts in October 1862, student of YVON, SIGNOL and PILS; exhibited at the 1855 Salon, with genre subjects, a few portraits and military subjects. In 1881, 3rd class medal; in 1888 and 1898, 2nd class medal and honorable mention in 1900 at the Universal Exhibition.
