Circular models with contours bordered by fillets, the marli engraved with a coat of arms stamped with a marquis's crown (crest: a lion rampant) with a lion and a greyhound as supports: to the dexter, Argent, a lion rampant Sable and to the sinister, Azure, a bend between three bezants Or. - PARIS, Claude-Pierre DEVILLE (received master in 1769), 1774-1775 (letter-date L).
