Case back centered with an oval miniature depicting a woman in Renaissance garb surmounted by a bow punctuated with Rhinestones, as well as a finely chased floral and foliate scroll motif on the bezel. Cock movement, key winding, verge escapement and meeting wheel, chain and fusee signed L'EPAUTTE in PARIS on the plate. French work from the last quarter of the 18th century (as is).
