* Double-leaf gouache-painted paper fan, the front of a large animated scene, probably Apollo and the Muses. The reverse depicts a small gallant scene, with a bird in a cage hanging from a tree. Handwritten on the reverse leaf: "Ct.RRh". Beautiful mother-of-pearl mounting, engraved and applied with two-tone gold, the central cartel of the throat, burgautée, partly repeating the subject of the leaf (restorations and small tears). France circa 1775 ht : 26.5 cm
