The front of a scene probably illustrating the story of Bacchus and Ariadne, on either side of the leaf scenes of putti busy with the trellis and games. The reverse features a summer scene of a young woman accompanied by a putto playing the cornet. Very fine engraved, carved and gilded mother-of-pearl mount. The throat of 3 animated cartels.
