Rare signed tent pole Qajar Iran, dated 1835-36 Chased steel, decorated with palmettes on the edge and calligraphic cartouches on one side, one of which inscribed Mirza Mohammad, and dated AH 1251 / 1835-36. Signed Isma'il al-Isfahani on the other side. Length: 25.5 cm See James Allan and Brian Gilmour, Persian Steel.
