ALLEMAGNE du NORD, Schleswig-Holstein Rare rocaille earthenware terrine, zoomorphic, the handles featuring two birds of prey heads treated au naturel, the body and base with shell and foliage motifs in light relief, enhanced with manganese violet on a yellow background, bouquets of flowers treated in iron red, manganese, green. 18th century (enamel chips on the spouts). L : 45.5 cm Similar white enamel model in the Staatiche Museum Zu Berlin, listed in the book Stralsunder Fayencen, 1755- 1792 by Gesine Schulz-Berlekamp.
