JAPON, Four d'Arita, Style kakiemon Pair of contoured-rim porcelain plates decorated in the center in blue underglaze with lake landscapes with pagodas, figures crossing a bridge and fishermen in boats, the rim decorated in overglaze enamels with blossoming prunus branches, bamboo and chrysanthemums, symbolizing the three friends of winter. Late 17th century, circa 1680 (one with cracked enamel). D : 22 cm
