Soft-paste rimmed plate decorated in overglaze enamels in iron red and gold with two phoenixes facing each other in the center and two dragons alternating with precious objects on the wing. The rim is decorated with gold "wolf's teeth". The reverse bears the red hunting horn mark and the initial B. 18th century, circa 1740. D : 24 cm This plate comes from the "Service du Prince Henri" (Louis Henri de Bourbon, Prince de Condé, patron of the Chantilly manufactory). Similar model Musée Condé, Chantilly. A hollow bowl from the same service is in the Musée Adrien Dubouché in Limoges.
