Officer's flintlock rifle, probably dragoon, circa 1770/1774, double barrel then round, traces of thunder hallmarks, length 91.8 cm, caliber 17.8 mm; 1770-type lock, with round iron pan with fireguard, signed: "FRANCOIS MISSILLIEUR"; brass fittings, as well as both doors, mounted with pivot spring, single-band grenadière, but of particular shape; walnut stock; iron ramrod; overall length 131 cm. Circa 1770/1780. Very good condition MISSILLIEUR or MISSILLIEU François, harquebusier in Saint-Étienne in 1770/1780, was an arms visitor at the Manufacture de Manufacture de Saint-Étienne, in Year II.
