Rare and beautiful knight in polychrome carved oak, hollow back. Standing, the knight is slightly stooped, leaning on his right leg; head stretched out on a graceful neck; youthful face, with regular features, arch of the eyebrows joining the bridge of the nose which is straight, two large eyes and a fine mouth: the forehead is high and clear; hair "bowl cut" slightly wavy. He is dressed in a long belted tunic with a vertical pleat and a cloak, one side of which fits behind the armorial shield held in his left hand. His right arm is raised as if he were holding a spear or a standard. Normandy, work of the Gothic period XIV - XVIth centuries (Wear and tear, including the right hand & restorations) Height without base 138 cm. An octagonal base in stained wood (H : 34 - L : 48 cm) is attached.
