Seven satyric engravings: - Il serait plus facile d'arrêter le soleil, lithograph by Travies published on December 20, 1833; 33 x 51 cm. - Les faux-dieux de l'Olympe, lithograph by E. Forest after Grandville, published in the newspaper La Caricature, September 20, 1832. While the king Louis-Philippe appears to us under the features of Jupiter, we have, on the left of the image, those of Talleyrand, in Vulcan...; 30 x 47 cm. - The Cat's paw published in November 1832, English engraving signed "HB", and published in London. On this lithograph one sees Talleyrand, our ambassador extraordinary, holding firmly on his knees, the English minister Palmerston, to prevent him from touching Belgium (and Antwerp), then under the control of Holland, and of which Talleyrand had obtained that it became neutral and independent; 34,5 x 26 cm. - Temptation (La Caricature, newspaper no. 217, plate 453); 25 x 31 cm. - Revolutionary scene (La Caricature, newspaper n°216, plate 450); 29,5 x 47 cm. - It is in a beautiful state your coat - it is the devil of national who tore it to me; 22 x 30 cm. - The system is quite sick, Talleyrand abandons it; 23,5 x 30 cm. Restoration period, Louis-Philippe. Good condition.
