Artillery officer's shako (derived from the 1846 model), dark blue cloth-covered shaft, basane at the back, gold braids and piping, tricolor metal cockade with gold gimp, round button with two crossed barrels surmounted by a flaming grenade ; brass plate with two crossed barrels and, above, an independent flaming grenade, square visor in black patent leather; black wolf-toothed morocco interior, with black patent leather chinstraps; it is presented with a red feather casoar plume. Second Republic period. Good condition.
