Miscellaneous documents: - Letter partly printed, invitation of the King to Madame la Vicomtesse d'Houdetot to the game which will take place in the apartments of His Majesty on Sunday March 12 at eight o'clock; Tuileries this 8 March 1826, signed by the first gentleman of the room of the King. - Certificate in part printed, company of the gendarmes of the King's guard, given by the Count of Durfort, captain lieutenant of the company of the gendarmes of the King, certifying that the sieur Clément Claude Joseph was received in the company on July 6, 1814 as supernumerary marshal of logis and that he served until the time of the dismissal on January 1, 1816, given in Paris on December 31, 1815, signed: "Cte Durfort". - Certificate in part printed, company of the guards of the door of the King, given by the Count de Vergennes, State Councillor, captain colonel of the guards of the door of His Majesty, mestre de camp of infantry, certifying that the lord Jean Baptiste Louis David, esquire, began to serve in this company in the capacity of guard on November 20, 1775 until this day, that he was reformed with this corps during which time he showed much zeal, good will, being very active and very educated; made in Versailles on October 1, 1787, signed the Count of Vergennes.
