French Guards: - Military leave, infantry, made in Paris on May 16, 1754, awarded to Claude Carbon, soldier, to retire to the Hôtel des Invalides. - Military leave, infantry, regiment of Médoc, granted to Jacques Godefroy called "prêt à boire", soldier, to retire to the Hôtel royal des Invalides, made in Toulon in 1764. - Certificate for admission to the military reward pension of 130 livres, awarded to the named Nicolas Bernier, corporal in the company of Artaignan; made in Paris on June 30, 1789; beautiful piece on parchment with the arms of France and those of Louis Marie Florent, Duke of Chatelet. - Receipt of 54 livres for M. Duché of the regiment of the French guards, given in Paris on October 15, 1732. - Receipt of 10 livres for Mr. Ardy concerning the lodging which must provide to a soldier of the general company of the Swiss guards, made in Paris on June 10, 1739. - Certificate of leave entirely handwritten, for the sieur de la Ferté, for 35 years of services, of which 28 as sergeant, permission to retire because of his infirmities to the Hôtel des Invalides, made in Paris on July 15, 1709, signed: "Dufay", with his seal in red wax with his arms. - Certificate of leave entirely handwritten, for the Hôtel des Invalides, given by the lieutenant-colonel of the regiment of infantry of Condé, granted to sieur Euvard, captain, following the shots he received at the siege of Denin, in Spain, made at the camp of Richemont on August 9, 1727; followed by numerous signatures.
