Three documents concerning the bodyguards of the King: - A leave of absence of bodyguard of the King granted to sieur D'ereignyer, company of Anne Jules de Noailles, Count d'Ayen, signed and dated January 4, 1676, stamp of red wax with the arms. - A patent of brigadier of the King's bodyguards in the company of Beauveau, for sieur André Laverny Damblard, formerly sub-brigadier; signed: "Louis" and dated January 1, 1776. - Havré Joseph-Anne-Auguste-Maximilien de Croy, Duc d', marshal of camp, deputy of the nobility of the baillage of Amiens to the Estates-General, peer of France, born in 1744 † at the castle of Havré in 1839 : beautiful autograph signed, written during the emigration where he thanks, in the name of the King, for the feelings shown for his cause and his person; he praises the generosity of the English nation; captain of the King's bodyguards under the Restoration (1814/1825). Good condition.
