Pair of fine earthenware vases, perhaps Nancy. Painted marks 4.j. (?). Oviform, with swan-necked handles with palmettes, decorated with blue and green flower garlands on the necks and shoulders. Early 19th century. (Each with a restored handle, a restored chip to a neck, chips). H : 24,5 cm For a vase attributed to Nancy and with a very similar decoration of flower garlands, see by Christian Maire, Histoire de la faïence fine française 1743-1843, Tours, 2008, p. 219.
