Two laws concerning military decoration are attached, one of January 7, 1791, the other of October 16, 1791 (rare diplomas given during the constitutional monarchy). - Letter of knighthood of the military order of Saint-Louis, on parchment, awarded to sieur Eusèbe Bourqui, flag bearer in the Swiss regiment of Founenberg with rank of lieutenant, given at Fontainebleau on October 23, 1785, signed: "Louis". Attached is a letter addressed to the same, signed: "Louis" with a dry stamp, concerning the delivery of the cross. - Patent of knight of the institution of military merit awarded to sieur Abraham Charton, lieutenant with rank of captain in the regiment of Diesbach, following his 25 years of service, given in Versailles on June 11, 1786.
