Colonial commissariat commissioners' sword model 1889, chased and gilt brass hilt, type 1837/1872, plain keyboard, gilt, adorned with a silver metal motif: an anchor in a crescent surrounded by two laurel branches, hinged counter keyboard, horn-covered spindle, filigree; white polished blade, rectangular at heel, signed: "Coulaux & Cie Klingenthal", then diamond-shaped; iron scabbard with a single strap of bélière; it is presented with its senior officer's strap in passementerie, the tassel adorned with blue silk; length 103,5 cm. Third Republic period. Very good condition.
