Large naval officer's dagger, crossed in gilt brass with two quillons in the shape of an eagle's head, bent downwards, body knot chiselled with an anchor in a medallion, on both sides, pommel in the shape of a capital, ebony spindle, squared; blade with half-spadon section, engraved in thirds; length 54,5 cm. (Without scabbard; missing chain; blade rather oxidized). First-Empire period. Fairly good condition.
