Marine officer's flintlock pistol, converted to percussion, strong round barrel in blued iron, blunderbussed at the end and finished by a bronze bead, calibre 18 mm; breech tail also blued; flat-bodied military type, blued; iron trimmings, cut out and blued, bronze ramrod entrance, silver cap in the shape of a sea dog's head; walnut stock, silver watermarked; bronze-tipped dewlap ramrod; length 29 cm. First-Empire period. Good condition.
