*Officer's saber of light cavalry or hussar in the oriental style by Pirmet in Paris, iron mount cased, straight crosspiece ending in two tassels, with two engraved auricles of arrows on the front, grip in the shape of a stick with two amber horn plates, decorated with two rivets with oval heads, engraved, passage of strap in the upper part ; Curved, flat, damascus-backed blade decorated with etched cabalistic signs; chagrin-covered wooden scabbard with metal stitching, two large, plain, cased iron fittings and two engraved bosses, one with a rosette and foliage, the other with a spider's web and foliage, the bolt engraved with half a spider's web and a flowering vase at the end; the upper part of the cap is signed, on the back : "Pirmet à Paris"; length 97 cm.
