[ELISA BONAPARTE - MANUSCRIT]
Note on the protocol of H.S.H. the Prince of Piombino. S.l., (1805), in-4, leaves in double folder, the first one of white moiré cardboard, the second one of strong cardboard covered with white silk with gilt frame and arms of the Second Empire pushed in the centre of the boards, smooth mute spine, endpapers lined with white moiré tabis (binding of the Second Empire). Ex-libris of the collection Gérard SOUHAM. Interesting manuscript intended to specify the rank of Felix Baciocchi (1762-1841), who became on 27 ventôse year XIII [18 March 1805] prince of Piombino. A "Napoleonic" relic in a small envelope from the end of the XIXth century is enclosed: a flower with dried leaves, in a folded note bearing the mention "Leaf taken from a crown deposited, it is said, by H.M. the Emperor Napoleon I on the tomb of the Great Frederick. Church of the Garrison. Potsdam. Prussia. Visit of Monday August 14, 1893". The whole is signed by Count P. de Girardin, and refers to the visit made by the Emperor to the Garnisonskirche on October 26, 1806 to see the tomb of Frederick II, the day before his entry into Berlin. Nice copy
