Nicol, 1802. 9 volumes in-folio, long-grained garnet morocco, double framed with gilt and blind serrated fillets and scrolls, spine gilt, edges gilt (English binding of the period). A frontispiece, two portraits of the author (one in bust form and the other allegorical) and 96 other copper-engraved plates after the main artists of the time. Some spotting and dull corners, a few rubbed boards, occasional heavy foxing and spotting, one leaf partially torn without missing in volume II, one double leaf detached at the beginning of volume IX, but A BEAUTIFUL EDITION IN EARLY ADJUSTED LEATHER OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EDITION OF SHAKESPEARE'S WORKS.
