Very rare earthenware pot holder of truncated cone shape with polychrome decoration of a landscape with the attributes of the nobility and the clergy (bishop's crook and sword) on a swing leaning towards the symbols of the Third Estate represented by a spade and a rake on which is perched a rooster in front of a tree of Liberty with a perched bird. Late 18th century, Revolutionary period (three original enamelled evacuation holes at the base, star-shaped crack on one side, a chip and some chips) H: 21 cm
