Earthenware plate with contoured border, with polychrome decoration of a harrow in the center framed by three fleur-de-lis and two ears of wheat on a background of a radiant sun star crossed by a sword and a bishop's crook symbolizing the nobility and the clergy framed by Latin inscriptions "Filelitas" and "pax conocrdia" (for concordia). Late 18th century, Revolutionary period D : 22,5 cm Bears on the reverse a label of provenance Paris Drouot, June 1967. This portcullis symbolizing the Third Estate has sometimes been confused and attributed to a Masonic symbol.
