Cup with "Boizot handle" and its saucer in soft porcelain with masonic and revolutionary subjects on a celestial blue background decorated with gold dots and a frieze of foliage framing medallions treated in polychrome with motifs: beam of lictor surmounted by an axe, sword finished by a balance beam symbolizing justice, three garlands of foliage for the three orders, square and plumb bobs surmounted by a blue, white and red ribbon. On the reverse side, blue marks Sèvres in all letters, RF for République Française, initials of the painter LR for Jeanne Joséphine Roguier née Le Riche (active in Sèvres from 1782 to 1793) and initials in gold GI of the gilder Étienne Gabriel Girard (active in Sèvres from 1762 to 1805). End of the 18th century, revolutionary period, circa 1793 (one of the two medallions of the cup with a central motif scratched during the Terror) D (saucer) : 13 - H (cup) : 7 cm The Sèvres mark in full is affixed from 1793.
