Litron cup resting on three claw feet and its tripod saucer in porcelain with gold background, the cup probably showing the King of Rome as a child among the clouds in front of a sphere studded with stars with an eagle in a rectangular cartouche, surrounded by friezes of oak leaves and papyrus palmettes. The saucer marked in the center "Hope of the French" with a bee framed by sixteen stars and a frieze of laurel on a gold background. Both pieces marked on the reverse "nast à Paris par Brevet d'inv,on" First quarter of the 19th century, circa 1811-1812 (visible accidents, cup handle missing) D (saucer) : 13- H (cup) : 7 cm This piece is a rare document representing the one who could have been Napoleon II (Napoleon François Charles Joseph, King of Rome, Prince of Parma, Duke of Reichstadt)
