Art Nouveau tapestry illustrating Terpsichore, muse of Dance and Poetry under a portico decorated with peacock feathers and flowers, attributed to the Braquenié manufacture, circa 1895, end of the 19th, beginning of the 20th century. It is inspired by the portieres of the Gods of Claude Audran woven in the eighteenth century. It can be compared to a tapestry presented at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900, woven at the Gobelins after Eugène Bidau, and Paul Joseph Blanc (GOB-444-000). Very good condition, very fine weaving, rings, lined. H : 1,86 - L : 1,57 m
