Louis XVI period. (Restorations, reported movement). H: 47 cm - W: 30 cm - D: 19 cm The signature Lepaute Horloger Du Roi corresponds to an important watchmaking family Le Paute or Lepaute, founded in 1740 by Jean André. Settled in Paris and named Horloger du Roi within the Palais du Luxembourg.
