Grey musketeer war armour worn by the Count of the Psez (?), in patinated wrought iron, it was perhaps lacquered in black, with brass rivets on the chest and backrest; it is presented with its strawberries and red velvet belt bordered with silver braid; leather shoulder pads covered with red velvet, silver braid, two-hole iron fixing lugs; the breastplate is marked, in the upper left corner: "MONSIEUR LE CONTE" and, on the right side: "DU PSE...."; the inside of the shell is marked with white paint: "Off. De Mousquetaire Gris - 1660 - Carried by the Cte du Psez" and, below: "Provenance: Cte de Durfort Château de Toisy-La Berchère - Bourgogne". 17th century period. Quite good condition.
